In my opinion, primary schools should have a moderate size and prioritize the quality of teacher-student interaction rather than solely focusing on quantity.

首先,小学规模过大可能导致教育资源的分配不均衡。庞大的小学通常包含数十个甚至上百个班级,学生数量众多,但教师数量却有限。这种情况下,教师难以照顾到每个学生的个性化需求,无法进行有效的个别辅导。同时,大班额也会给师生之间的互动带来困难,导致教学质量下降。相比之下,适中规模的小学可以更好地分配教育资源,提供更好的教学环境。

Firstly, an excessively large size of primary schools can result in an uneven distribution of educational resources. Massive primary schools typically consist of dozens or even hundreds of classes, accommodating a large number of students, while the number of teachers remains limited. In such cases, teachers find it challenging to attend to the individual needs of each student and provide effective individualized guidance. Additionally, large class sizes pose difficulties for interactions between teachers and students, leading to a decline in teaching quality. On the other hand, moderately-sized primary schools can allocate educational resources more effectively and provide a better learning environment.

Lastly, an excessively large size of primary schools can also lead to increased work pressure on teachers. A large number of students require teachers to exert more energy and time in order to manage and teach effectively. If teachers are overwhelmed, their teaching quality and focus may decline. Moderately-sized primary schools, on the other hand, are relatively easier for teachers to establish good interactions and relationships with students, thereby providing better education for students.
