G20峰会是一个国际经济合作论坛,于1999年12月16日在德国柏林成立,属于布雷顿森林体系框架内非正式对话的一种机制,由原八国集团以及其余十二个重要经济体组成。旨在推动已工业化的发达国家和新兴市场国家之间就实质性问题进行开放及有建设性的讨论和研究,以寻求合作并促进国际金融稳定和经济的持续增长。按照以往惯例,国际货币基金组织与世界银行列席该组织的会议。
The G20 Summit is an international economic cooperation forum established in Berlin, Germany on December 16, 1999. It is a mechanism for informal dialogue within the framework of the Bretton Woods system, consisting of the original Group of Eight and the other twelve important economies. The purpose is to promote open and constructive discussions and research among the developed industrialized countries and emerging market countries on substantive issues to seek cooperation and promote international financial stability and sustained economic growth. According to the usual practice, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank attend the meetings of the organization.
2016年中国接替日本成为G20峰会主席国。作为主席国,中方将组织部长级会议,并于今年7月制定《G20落实2030年可持续发展议程行动计划》,同时将2030年可持续发展议程同自身发展战略及联合国2030年可持续发展议程有效对接。今年11月将在浙江杭州举办第二十一届峰会,G20杭州峰会将通过一系列具有雄心水平、非约束性的《G20行动计划》,为促进全球经济增长注入强劲动力,为完善全球经济治理提供建设性方案,为增进全球经济福祉作出更大贡献。
In 2016, China succeeded Japan as the presidency of the G20 Summit. As the presidency, China will organize ministerial-level meetings and develop a "G20 Action Plan for Implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" in July this year. At the same time, it will align the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development with its own development strategy and the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development to effectively respond to these global challenges. In November this year, the 21st Summit will be held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China. The Hangzhou Summit of the G20 will inject strong momentum into promoting global economic growth, provide constructive solutions to improve global economic governance, and make greater contributions to enhancing global economic well-being through a series of ambitious and non-binding Action Plans of the G20.
