What is Commission Spread?
Commission spread, also known as order spread, is an important concept in stock trading. It represents the price difference between the current buy one and sell one orders. In simple terms, commission spread reflects the buying and selling willingness of investors as well as the strength contrast of both sides.
When the commission spread is positive, it means the buying power is stronger than the selling power. This is usually a positive signal, indicating that the stock price may rise. During this period, investors may observe active buying and a bullish market atmosphere.
On the contrary, when the commission spread is negative, it indicates that the selling power is stronger than the buying power. This is usually seen as a negative signal, potentially implying a decline in stock prices. In such cases, investors may observe increased selling and a bearish market sentiment.
However, it's important to note that the commission spread is only a snapshot of the market conditions and cannot completely determine the trend of stock prices. When making decisions, investors need to consider other factors comprehensively, such as the company's fundamentals, market trends, macroeconomic conditions, etc.
