中国南车与中国北车的合并是在2015年6月1日正式完成的。这一合并标志着中国轨道交通装备制造领域两大巨头的强强联合，也代表了中国轨道交通产业整合的开始。

合并之前，中国南车和中国北车一直是中国轨道交通装备制造行业的两大领军企业，分别承担着国内外市场的轨道交通装备研发、制造、销售和服务任务。然而，随着国内外市场的竞争加剧，两家企业面临着越来越大的压力和挑战。为了更好地应对这些挑战，提高产业集中度和国际竞争力，中国政府决定推动两家企业的合并。

The merger of China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation (CSR) and China North Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation (CNR) was officially completed on June 1st, 2015. This merger marked the powerful union of the two giants in China's rail transportation equipment manufacturing sector and signaled the beginning of the integration of China's rail transportation industry.

Before the merger, CSR and CNR were two leading enterprises in China's rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry, responsible for the research, development, manufacturing, sales, and service of rail transportation equipment in both domestic and international markets. However, with increasing competition in both domestic and international markets, the two companies faced growing pressure and challenges. To better respond to these challenges, increase industry concentration, and enhance international competitiveness, the Chinese government decided to promote the merger of the two companies.

After several rounds of negotiations and consultations, CSR and CNR officially signed the merger agreement on December 30th, 2014. On June 1st, 2015, the new company resulting from the merger - China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation (CRRC) - was officially established. The new company inherited the high-quality resources and businesses of CSR and CNR, further enhancing the overall strength and competitiveness of China's rail transportation equipment manufacturing industry.

Since the merger, CRRC has continued to adhere to the business philosophy of "innovation-driven, quality first, customer supreme," committed to providing higher-quality, more efficient, and safer rail transportation equipment and services to the global market.
