The full-scale debt ratio refers to the ratio of total debt to nominal GDP in an economy during a certain period of time. This total debt includes government debt, corporate debt, household debt, etc., but excludes the debt of financial institutions. The calculation method of the full-scale debt ratio is to divide the total debt by the nominal GDP, then multiply by 100% to get a percentage value.

The full-scale debt ratio can reflect the debt level and debt burden of an economy. Generally speaking, the higher the full-scale debt ratio, the higher the debt level and the heavier the debt burden of the economy. If the full-scale debt ratio is too high, it may trigger financial risks and debt crises, so it needs to be paid attention to.
