The PE Ratio, or Price-Earnings Ratio, is a commonly used metric in the stock market to assess whether a company's valuation is reasonable. The PE Ratio is the ratio between a stock's market price and its earnings per share, calculated as: PE Ratio = Stock Price / Earnings Per Share.

The PE Ratio reflects investors' expectations of a company's future profitability. Generally speaking, a higher PE Ratio indicates that investors have more confidence in the company's future development and are willing to pay a higher price for each unit of earnings. Conversely, a lower PE Ratio may suggest that investors are cautious about the company's future development or that the market has lower expectations for the company's profitability.
