In China's stock market, "ST" is an abbreviation for "Special Treatment". When a company's financial situation experiences severe issues, such as consecutive years of losses or negative net assets, the stock exchange will subject its shares to special treatment, marked by the "ST" logo before the stock's abbreviation. This serves as a reminder to investors that the company poses considerable risks. This special treatment mechanism aims to protect investors' interests and prevent losses from blind investments.
