Equity incentive refers to a system arrangement in which an enterprise issues stocks or stock options to employees, enabling them to share in the development results and interests of the company, so as to motivate them to work harder. Through equity incentives, employees can become shareholders of the company, share its profits and growth, thereby enhancing their sense of belonging and responsibility, and improving work enthusiasm and efficiency.
Equity incentives are usually divided into two forms: stock incentives and stock option incentives. Stock incentives refer to directly issuing stocks to employees, making them shareholders of the company; while stock option incentives refer to issuing stock options to employees, allowing them to purchase company stocks at a specific price within a certain period of time, and obtain returns from the appreciation of company stocks.
