In the Reverse Pull Line pattern, a relatively long up candlestick (or down candlestick) is typically followed by one or more shorter down candlesticks (or up candlesticks). The closing prices of these shorter K-lines are all below (or above) the closing price of the longer K-line. The emergence of this pattern usually indicates that the bullish forces (or bearish forces) in the market, after experiencing a period of upward (or downward) movement, are starting to encounter resistance from the bearish forces (or bullish forces), and the stock price may reverse accordingly.
